XERB & Wolfman Jack
At Salute 2009, XERB turned out to be such a big hit with everyone that we’ve decided to not only bring it back for 2010, but to make it and The Wolfman the theme for our 5th Anniversary Celebration.
We’ll kick off the festivities on Thursday evening with our Henry Travers’ Scholarship dinner followed on Friday, May 14 by our American Graffiti Cruise-in and Social at The Petaluma Plazas complete with live entertainment and our American Graffiti Derby.
Finally, all day on Saturday in downtown Petaluma, where many of the most memorable scenes were filmed back in 1972, it’s Salute 2010. XERB and Sonoma County’s Howlin’ Dan The Wolfman will be broadcasting live on your radio. Grab a root beer float and a burger at Mel’s, stroll around town and check out all of the cool rides and this year’s Holstein’s Herd emergency vehicles. And don’t forget the painted hub cap art show, American Graffiti Trading Cards, vendors, merchants, great food and cool contests. Of course, there will be a few new twists that we’re keeping under our hats, so you’ll just have to make the scene! We’ll continue to update the website, adding details, maps and schedules as they become available, so check back every once in a while to see what’s new.
