Operating a nonprofit corporation is a business and back in 2005 and 2006 when we went out into the community to ask for support, we were sufficiently convincing to attract many sponsors, donors and volunteers who believed that we would be successful in our endeavor to create a premier Petaluma event that would attract national and international attention, bring visitors to our community and county from around the world and raise money for the well-being of Petaluma.
